How Life Insurance Has Helped Me

Welcome to my life insurance blog!  This site is developed to share my personal experiences with life insurance.  Consider reading my brief message and linking into my company web site to shop for life insurance for yourself or your loved one.  If you choose to purchase life insurance it may be the best gift that you will ever offer your loved ones if the unthinkable happens.

It's hard to believe that life insurance has been such a silver lining for me since I was just eighteen years old.  My Mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer in her mid thirties leaving a husband and three children behind.  She had a life insurance policy that helped me attend college and to pay for my wedding.

Just seven years later, my first husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness that took his life three and a half months after diagnosis.  Thankfully, his father had been a life insurance agent who looked at the possibility of loss, providing coverage for my husband and I once again had a silver lining in a great loss.  This time around I had two small children from our marriage to raise.  Managing this money carefully over the years enabled me to provide financial assistance for my children until their adult years.

Lastly, my second husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness while I yet had our daugther to raise as a teenager.  When the unthinkable happens, do we really want to be caught leaving ourselves and our loved ones unprepared?

Consider visiting the site of my trusted friend and associate, Raymond L. Adams, CLU, ChFC, CFP, president of Washington state-based CEG Life Insurance Services where you can compare prices of more than twenty life insurance companies without having to contact anyone.  http://connie.ceglife.com
